We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanent, full time opportunity in a combined role of Community Rehabilitation Services to the town and surrounding area of 100 Mile House and at two Long Term Care facilities (i.e. Fischer Place and Mill Site Lodge).

In this role the Occupational Therapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team providing occupational therapy services that include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of residents/clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes in residential and community settings.

Days of work are Monday to Friday with weekends and statutory holidays off.  Hourly rate of pay is $35.05 to $43.73; to be determined with the successful candidate. Local travel is required in this role within the surrounding area. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan that includes coverage for basic Medical Services, Dental Services, and Extended Health. Relocation Allowance package to be offered with position.

• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
