Shift Concussion Management is a widely recognized education platform dedicated to raising the standard of care for concussion rehabilitation. Shift offers in-person and interactive training to Health Care Providers on assessment and management strategies, based on the most current and evidence based literature and clinical expertise. The structure of our program is based around a multi-faceted approach, with several important pills for the complete management of concussion: education, interdisciplinary collaboration, objective assessment markers and individualized rehabilitation strategies.
Our Level 1 Program is designed to provide a solid foundation for the understanding of concussion injuries, while integrating skill sets within an interdisciplinary team. This program will take the clinician from the first visit of the clinical assessment and initial education, through introductory concepts for vestibular and oculomotor rehabilitation, as well as exertion training. Concussion affects not only athletes, but all individuals, and our training is designed to help understand how to tailor the initial rehabilitation plan to the lifestyle demands of each case.
