The Master of Education in Health Sciences Education (MHSE) is designed for all health professionals and clinical faculty. You will integrate your area(s) of interest throughout your studies and explore the challenges and opportunities associated with health professional education. Students come from occupational therapy, as well as medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nutrition, respiratory therapy, physiotherapy, nursing, speech-language pathology and paramedicine – to name only a few. This diversity of professions supports rich learning conversations and deep insights about HSE.

Admission Requirements:
• A four-year baccalaureate degree from a recognized university with a 3.0 GPA
• Instructional experience in a health-related discipline
• English Language proficiency

Courses:
• 8 core courses, most are 8 weeks in duration ($1600/course plus non-instructional fees)
• 2 electives (fees vary)
• Course- or thesis-based final project or paper ($1600 plus non-instructional fees)

EDHS 503 Introduction to Methods of Educational Research in the Health Sciences
EDHS 504 Curriculum Studies in the Health Sciences

Year Two
EDHS 505 Program Evaluation
EDHS 506 Integrating Technology Across the Curriculum
EDHS 507 Assessment in Health Sciences I
EDHS 508 Assessment in Health Sciences II

Additional Courses:
Course-based students are required to complete EDHS 903 Directed Research Project.
Thesis-based students are required to complete a 900-level THES course.
