Let’s Connect – Linking First Year OT Students & Practicing OTs During Covid-19

Due to continuing pandemic circumstances, the UofA fieldwork schedule has been modified for 2021 and is focused on the placement needs of the current Year 2 MScOT cohort. OTs who are willing and able to supervise placements anytime during mid-June through Dec 2021 are encouraged to contact the university directly: otclined@ualberta.ca

Registered Occupational Therapists

If you are a registered Occupational Therapist in Alberta and can spare 30 minutes of your time to connect with a first year OT student, you can make a difference! Register today and we will match you with an OT student with an interest in your practice area. Students have many questions and could benefit from your support and encouragement. Once you have been matched, you can both choose to connect by telephone, video conference or other practical means on a day and time that works for you.

First Year OT Students

If you are a first year OT student attending the University of Alberta, you can register here to be matched with a registered OT practicing in Alberta. Once matched, you can connect for 30 minutes to get some questions answered and learn more about the area of practice you have chosen.
