This is a one day anatomy review of the hip and lower extremity with hands–on access to pre-dissected specimens in the cadaver lab. There will be a classroom session reviewing the materials identified in the lab. Emphasis will be on myology of the hip, thigh, leg and foot. The circulatory system, major nerves and plexuses will also be incorporated into the lab.
Applicants: The workshop is only available to Therapists who are registered with their professional associations.
Date & Time: Saturday September 23rd, 2017, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Location: Room 612, Medical Science Building, University of Alberta
Clothing: Comfortable clothing should be worn. No sandals or open toed shoes will be allowed in the lab. Lab coats and gloves will be provided. Lab protocol will be adhered to strictly.
Registration Fee: $150.00 early registration-Prior to Sept 1st. 2017 $175.00 regular registration

Instructor: Gail Amort-Larson has taught in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Grant MacEwan Massage Therapy Program for over 25 years.
