It’s been quite a year. It matters that we keep promoting access to occupational therapy services and coverage through extended health care benefit programs. Every Albertan should have timely and appropriate access to the services they need – including OT!
This issue is relevant for all of us, not just those working in private practice. The growth of occupational therapy as a profession depends on each of us!

Join us for inspiration and interaction! Meet the small group of SAOT volunteers who are passionate about creatively raising grassroots awareness and the need for insurance funding for OT services. Learn about the initiative that SAOT has undertaken with the latest social media campaign – Ask for OT. Dawn Whitnack and Bonnie Klassen will review the steps we have completed to date and share the current results. Karen Daniels will activate your imagination and purpose with a simple, fun exercise. She will then guide the exploration or discussion of the discoveries. PLEASE BRING ALONG 3 POST-ITS.
