Mindfulness is becoming increasingly recognized as a helpful practice for emotional and psychological well being, but is often confused with more complicated practices like positive thinking, gratitude and meditation. Mindfulness, at its core, is a practice of open awareness and focus on that which you are being mindful of!
In this 90 minute session, you will learn short, simple mindfulness practices that you can use in your daily life. This session explores mindfulness as a practice of kindness, curiosity, and open awareness, and is foundational to practices of deep self-caring.
Once the building blocks of mindfulness are explored, Sandy will share a guided practice that uses mindfulness, made for those who are in caring and helping professions, that helps to develop compassion for yourself and those you serve.
No prior experience with mindfulness needed.
