Webinar – MagnusCards: Assistive Technology as a Life Skills Companion for Individuals with Cognitive Special Needs

May 2 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

$5 – $10

Description:

This webinar will cover an overview of Magnusmode, our free mobile app MagnusCards, a demo of how to use it and ending with a discussion/question period. Magnusmode leverages technology in fun and innovative ways to help adults and children with special needs to live with greater independence and inclusion. MagnusCards provides digital how-to guides with text, audio and visual instructions for activities at home and in the community, such as making breakfast, money management or grocery shopping. Corporations like CIBC, Colgate-Palmolive, and Tim Hortons are also on board! MagnusCards is available for free in the AppStore or GooglePlay store.

After this webinar, OTs, therapists, teachers, caregivers and others will understand how to get started using MagnusCards and be able to teach their clients how to use MagnusCards to learn and practice life skills.

Presenter:

Megan Robinson is the Customer Experience Associate at Magnusmode. She has earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Hons) from Memorial University. Megan is constantly reaching out to community organizations, therapists, teachers, caregivers, and others to educate them about MagnusCards and teach them how they can utilize it to support daily independent living.

After registration, participants will receive an email with a link and instructions on how to access the webinar.
