Occupational Therapists are uniquely positioned to assist managing Pandemic Fatigue and Long COVID in our everyday lives. Current research outlines significant increases in mental health conditions as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic impacting the ability to work as well as home family community engagement.
Long COVID comes with further debilitating challenges where we are learning new evidence in real time. This workshop weighs in on what we know of the impacts on daily functioning so far, what are the similarities and evidence related to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS) and other chronic conditions. Evidence based tools to assess mental-cognitive fatigue, ADL, IADL are included in the workshop.
