In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Adaptive Engineering Inc and 101 Mobility (Calgary branch) are now offering two services to assist individuals in wheelchairs to move from hospitals and other institutions to home environments.

The goal is to free up hospital beds and reduce patients’ risk of hospital-acquired infections.

Lift2Go Lifting Services (Pay-What-You-Can)

This is an on-demand lifting service, whereby our staff will setup one of our portable wheelchair lifts, assist people to get into their homes, and then move to the next location. To ensure maximum benefit to the community, we are offering this assistance on a pay-what-you-can basis during the COVID-19 crisis. Details are available at: www.lift2go.com/lift2go-services 

Wheelchair Lifts Rentals by the Week

This service is for families who wish to temporarily rent a wheelchair lift for use at their home. Two versatile models are available: the Mobilift CX and the Lift2Go. Both devices can be set up in minutes and user training is simple and quick. Technical assessment services are provided at no charge.
