Description:
This is an occupational therapy practice for children and their families. Our clientele ranges from neurotypical babies with sleep or feeding issues to adolescents with complex needs. We work with other disciplines to address family priorities whether they be preventative or rehabilitative. We are based in Grande Prairie.
As an OT, I have extensive experience with Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other developmental disorders. I am specially trained in feeding and fine motor issues, sensory processing and perceptual difficulties, cognitive and social skill deficits. I have followed clients well into adulthood and am very aware of the impact of their disability moving into the adult world. I have taken courses in Life Care Planning and have done medical-legal work for both plaintiff and defense.
