Heather treats both paediatric and adult populations using a client-centred, collaborative, and functional approach to treatment. She sees clients with mental health and physical health concerns. She has advanced training in mental health, trauma/PTSD, concussions, cognitive abilities assessments, fine motor concerns, and sensory processing dysfunctions (including SOS Approach to Feeding).

Heather is a graduate of the Occupational Therapy program at Queen's University, where she also completed her undergraduate degree in psychology, with a focus on neuroscience. She completed her PhD at University of Calgary, specializing in concussion rehabilitation and is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship at University of Toronto, furthering her work in concussion rehabilitation and exploring knowledge translation in other areas of health practice.
